Jessica Lastarza joined CT Mediation Center in December of 2019 with nearly two decades of experience as an attorney. She graduated from Fairfield University with an undergraduate degree in economics and a minor in psychology. Subsequently, she received her law degree from New England Law in 2003, with distinguished academic honors.

Jessica’s legal experience includes litigating family law matters, designing and drafting estate plans, and advising clients in tax, business, corporate, and real estate matters. Jessica is skilled at drafting and negotiating contracts covering a broad range of legal issues facing individuals and businesses. Many principles of contract law also govern many aspects of your family law case.

Jessica has received her divorce mediation training certification from the Connecticut Council for Non-Adversarial Divorce. She has earned her Collaborative divorce certificate from the Collaborative Practice Training Institute in March of 2021.

Jessica believes that the best result in any divorce or legal separation is achieved through a mediated settlement, if possible. Jessica is passionate about assisting couples and families in restructuring their families and effectively transitioning to the next phase of their lives in a self-determined way. Outside of her career, she is the proud mother of three children.
