Candace Fay is a solo practitioner with offices located in Danbury and New Canaan, Connecticut. Candace's mission is to practice "real law for real people." Before entering private practice, Candace had the prestigious honor to serve as a law clerk to esteemed Honorable Holly B. Fitzsimmons of the United States District Court of Connecticut.
Although new to the CCND, Candace has always approached her family cases with an eye towards the total family and putting family and children first.
Candace received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Connecticut in 2001. She received her law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2007, where she was the Executive Editor of the Public Interest Law Journal. Candace explored and compared the effectiveness and prevention efforts of the Passamaquoddy Tribal Court with the State of Connecticut Courts in her Independent Research Project. In 2022, Candace completed the Yale School of Management Executive Education Women’s Leadership Program.
She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Danbury Bar Association, Connecticut Federal Court's Public Outreach Committee, Florida Bar Association and the Raymond E. Baldwin Inns of Court. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, Florida, United States District Court of Connecticut, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
She also serves as a pro bono lawyer with Secretary of State’s Legal Assistance Project and the Connecticut Bar Association’s Lawyers for Libraries initiative.

Candace is very active with her community. When not working, Candace enjoys golf, tennis, exercise and spending time with her children.
