Open to financial experts, attorneys, and mental health professionals, these sessions provide a space to connect, exchange ideas, and strengthen our approach to family dispute resolution.

Topic
Co-Mediation: When Two Professionals Are Better Than One
Co-mediation can be an invaluable resource when navigating complex family dynamics, high-conflict personalities, or emotionally charged topics. Whether pairing with a co-parenting counselor to support communication and reduce emotional reactivity, or collaborating with a CDFA to bring clarity to intricate financial questions, co-mediation offers a balanced, interdisciplinary approach that strengthens the process for clients.
In this session, we’ll explore when co-mediation is appropriate, how to determine what type of professional best complements your skill set, and how to structure roles to maintain neutrality and efficiency. We’ll discuss real-world scenarios where co-mediation enhances both understanding and outcomes—and when a single mediator may still be the right fit.
