“Taking your Emotional Pulse: Being More Present and Aware in the Mediation Process”

Clients who are engaged in a divorce process — even the “amicable parties” — are filled with a potpourri of emotions that may include hard, soft and fragile feelings. But they are not the only ones generating emotion in the room. You are there too! Without being better aware of your own internal emotional barometer you will likely not only hinder the mediation process and its outcome, it could also be detrimental to your own well-being. This presentation will focus on increasing self-awareness to be better able to be present and in the moment. Being more aware leads to a better outcome for the parties and for yourself.
