CCND Annual Meeting 2026

Join CCND as We Honor Eva DeFranco with the Howard Krieger Beacon Lifetime Achievement Award at our Annual Meeting on Thursday, September 17, 2025, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the elegant Elm City Club in New Haven. It promises to be a truly special evening as we come together to celebrate, honor, and learn.
For decades, Eva DeFranco has been a guiding light in Connecticut’s non-adversarial divorce community.
As a Past President of CCND, longtime Board member, mentor, and lead trainer of Connecticut’s nationally recognized 40-Hour Divorce & Family Mediation Training, Eva has educated and inspired generations of family professionals. Her work has transformed not only the lives of countless families, but also the professionals privileged to learn from her.
As she begins her retirement, CCND is honored to present Eva with the Howard Krieger Beacon Lifetime Achievement Award at our Annual Meeting on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
Congratulations, Eva. Thank you for your wisdom, generosity, and decades of service. Your legacy will continue to shape our profession for years to come.
Adding to the excitement, we’ll be joined by a panel of esteemed judges—Hon. Steven Dembo, Hon. Leo Diana, and Hon. Holly Abery-Wetstone—who will engage in a lively and insightful Q&A. Judges will respond to questions submitted in advance, offering a rare opportunity for candid dialogue on issues impacting our work and the families we serve.
Join us as we celebrate an extraordinary career.
