October 8, 2025 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

CCND’s Lunch & Learn Series

via Zoom

Uniform Mediation Act (UMA)

October 8, 2025

12 – 1 pm

This is an exciting time for divorce mediation and collaborative divorce in Connecticut.

The upcoming enactment of the Uniform Mediation Act (UMA) and the Uniform Collaborative Law Act (UCLA) this October represents more than just legislative progress; it’s a cultural shift in how we view divorce in Connecticut.

These new laws affirm the core values CCND has championed for years: access to private, structured, child-centered alternatives to litigation.

Join us for three important lunchtime sessions as we explore how the UMA, UCLA, and the newly updated Model Standards for Family & Divorce Mediation will shape our work and support families through more dignified and respectful processes:

πŸ“… October 1, 2025 | 12–1 PM
UCLA

πŸ“… October 8, 2025 | 12–1 PM
UMA

πŸ“… October 15, 2025 | 12–1 PM
Model Standards for Family & Divorce Mediation

Together, we’ll discuss how these laws, and the latest professional standards, reinforce our mission and reimagine the future of family law in Connecticut.

Member Registration is not required. We will email the Zoom links to all members the week before and the week of the event.
