I am a compassionate attorney, accountant, and marriage and family therapist with over 35 years of experience, so I can help you address all three dimensions of divorce: legal, financial, and emotional. As an attorney, I will help you to identify, discuss and resolve the legal issues that you will encounter. As an accountant, I will guide you through the complex financial and tax aspects of divorce. My background as a marriage and family therapist will help you to balance and channel your emotions, to clearly and respectfully express your feelings and needs, and cooperatively create a fair and reasonable agreement. Because my practice is devoted exclusively to divorce and post-divorce mediation, I have the experience and the focus you need to successfully complete the divorce process. I also have significant personal experience with divorce: my parents divorced when I was in my early 20’s; my twin sister divorced; I have been divorced twice, and I am married for the third time. I have co-parented five children (ages 4-14 at the time of the divorce) and have step-parented four others. I understand–both professionally and personally–the emotions, issues, and challenges of getting divorced.
