LAURA RENFRO is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She works as a divorce coach, family specialist and child specialist. She has extensive training in Divorce Mediation and Collaborative Divorce. Laura served as the co-president of the Connecticut Collaborative Divorce Group and is an active member of the Collaborative Divorce Professionals, Central CT Collaborative Family Law Group and the International Association of Divorce Professionals. She has a sincere interest in reducing the emotional impact that divorce can have on children and their families. For over twenty five years, she has been working with children and families, adults, and couples to address a variety of psychological issues and challenges.

In addition to helping families peacefully resolve conflict, Laura works passionately to help children who have experienced trauma and loss, particularly foster and adopted children. Committed to “giving back”, she has volunteered regularly as a Special Master at the Regional Family Trial Docket in Middletown, CT and has mediated for families in conflict at the Connecticut Children’s Law Center.
