I have gained over 30 years of experience practicing family law including divorce, child custody, child support, visitation matters, contempt actions and post divorce modifications. I am committed to working one-on-one with each my clients to provide quality representation. I understand that going through a divorce is a very personal and emotional experience and that is why I believe in developing a relationship with each of my clients to help ease any concerns and stresses about the transition from marriage to divorce. This is why I encourage my clients to utilize the collaborative divorce process, whenever possible. I serve as a Family Special Master for the New Britain Superior Court, I have been appointed by the State to act as committee in foreclosure actions and I have been appointed by the Town of Plainville to serve as its Town Attorney. I am a founding member of the Central Connecticut Collaborative Family Law Group (CCCFLG) and am a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP), the Connecticut Bar Association Family Law Section, and the Greater New Britain Bar Association. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Southern Connecticut State College (B.A. 1980) and was a member of the basketball team. I obtained my juris doctorate from the University of Bridgeport School of Law (J.D. 1983) (n/k/a Quinnipiac University School of Law). I am licensed to practice law in all Connecticut Courts as well as the United States District Court.
